The other night, it was raining hard.
The sky looked angry.
But I didn't care.
I was safe, curled up on my couch, deep into another storm chaser video on YouTube.
It's become my odd little habit.
I love watching these wild folks—like Connor Croft and Reed Timmer—drive right into tornadoes.
I stay cozy under my softest blanket, snacks nearby.
I think I just like the sound of the rain.
The swoosh of windshield wipers.
The chaos out there, while I get to be home in my pajamas, holding my ice filled Stanley.
During one chase, I actually laughed out loud.
Reed's friend was yelling, "Turn left! No, your other left!"
The wind was shaking the whole SUV.
They looked scared and confused, but they kept going.
They never really seem "ready."
They just figure things out along the way.
I realized—
